Paul Noetling

                                                                            p.noetling@ccmarietta.com
After years of drug and alochol abuse, Paul finally came to the end of himself at 18 years old when his roommate died at a Southern California. It wasn't long after, in the summer of 1988, the Lord began to draw him to the Risen Savior through Calvary Chapel's radio ministry, K-WAVE.

In February of 1989, he made a public declaration to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at Calvary Chapel West Covina. Shortly after accepting the Lord, Paul felt a tremendous burden for the east coast and full-time ministry.  And so he moved to Costa Mesa and sat under Pastors Chuck Smith and Oden Fong (greetings to the Tuesday Night Fellowship).

In the summer of 1994, Paul and his family took a job transfer to Atlanta Georgia. At that time, it was just Paul, Jennifer and their beautiful daughter, Kaitlin.  Now Jennifer and Paul have six beautiful children who love the Lord.  You might say, their quiver is overflowing.

Shortly after landing in Georgia, Paul served as Youth Pastor for 6 years at Calvary Chapel Roswell and Calvary Chapel Gwinnett.

In March 2002, Calvary Chapel Cobb was started with 7 adults in a theater house on the Square of Marietta. In just a few years, the Lord has added to the church and now approximately 175 people including kids call Calvary Chapel Cobb their home.  Our vision for the church is Acts 2:42 to continue in the Apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in breaking of bread and in prayers and to keep it simply about Jesus!

                                                                               b.rivera@ccmarietta.com
Pastor Ben is achieving a master's level and winning one of the largest tournaments in foosball history, along with the party life style did not satisfy Ben's heart. In 1985 a friend shared "you must be born again to see the kingdom of God". There on the sand of Bolsa Chica Beach California he accepted Christ, he begun seeking God with all his heart. The Lord led Ben to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa where he grew in his relationship with Jesus.

God radically changed his life, after going on the Festival of Life short term missions to the Philippines, where Ben was born, he join the school of Evangelism at Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego California.

In 1991 he married Wendy. They have 2 children, Julia and Nathan. In 2004 God spoke out of Isaiah 55:6-13 to leave the "land of beaches and freeways" and go to Georgia.

"Let my teaching drop as the rain, my speech distill as the dew, as raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.  For I proclaim the name of the Lord:  Ascribe greatness to our God."  Deuteronomy 32: 2 - 3

Justin Vigeant

 j.vigeant@ccmarietta.com
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want." It was this very simple verse that God used to pierce the heart of Justin Vigeant one June morning in 1998. Having been raised a Catholic as a child, Justin later explored Buddhism, Taoism, and even became a follower in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) for a time. However, all these searches turned up fruitless. Though friends had witnessed for Christ to Justin, he rejected the Gospel of Christ; however it was at a point of spiritual bankruptcy in June of 1998 that the Lord revealed Himself to Justin and captivated His heart. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. Neither our works, nor our rituals or religion can make us righteous. Only He is righteous, and in Him we have His righteousness. Justin and His wife Erin have been married since 1999. They have a son, Benjamin, who was born in 2004.

As the praise and worship leader at Calvary Chapel Cobb, Justin's vision and heart would be first and foremost that the Holy Spirit would be at work during the time of worship at CCM so that the fellowship of believers can enter into a meaningful time of worshipping the true and living God; and that the body of Christ would be built up and edified as we together approach His throne of Grace and spend time in fellowship with the Lord.

Ben Rodriguez

                                                                          b.rodriguez@ccmarietta.com
Raised in a Christian home, Ben Rodriguez as a teenager systematically rebelled against the teaching and admonition of his mother and father, Kathy and Silvestre. Alcohol, drugs, and an attitude of self-rule were the calling cards of his youth. It wasn't until the age of 17, reached by a neighboring family in the Flathead Valley of northwestern Montana where he lived, that the fruit of his parents' tireless ministry finally came to bear. Ben accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, and though the years since have been far from perfectly lived, he continues to grow in his relationship with Jesus. His life brings out the truth of the words in Ecclesiastes 3:11 which state that "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end." With the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the joy of salvation, Ben's walk with Jesus has taken him places he had never dreamed to see, and has led him to countless divine appointments. Currently, Ben lives in Kennesaw, Georgia with his wife Veronica and their 3 children. He serves as a Children's Minister for Calvary Chapel Cobb.

As Children's Minister, it is Ben's aim to share the love of Jesus Christ to our little ones at every opportunity. The gospel is ever a part of the curriculum, and lived out in the way the teachers interact with the children. The Children's Ministry also focuses on the Word of God, utilizing "chapter by chapter" learning tools to give the kids a strong foundation in the Lord's promises. And finally, Calvary Chapel Cobb's Children's Ministry challenges each pupil to live out their faith using volunteer ministries such as puppets and young servant assignments.

Peter Harring

                                                    p.harring@ccmarietta.com

While serving in the United States Air Force, in Germany, in the fall of 1990, Peter felt the call of the Lord convicting him of all his sins. Until that point, Peter, raised as a Protestant in a small town in Maine, considered himself a "pretty good guy" and was proud of it. But God says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Rom 3:23. So when the Holy Spirit pointed out Peter's inequities, he was overwhelmed with them. Then the Joy of the Lord became his strength as he accepted the unmerited grace of God, the forgiveness of his sins. "Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." Hab 3:18

Shortly thereafter, Peter returned to the States where he met his bride to be Margaret. They were stationed in Las Vegas, NV where they attended a "seeker" friendly church until God put a Calvary Chapel nearly on their doorstep. They worshiped and served at Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain until moving to Georgia where the Lord brought them to Calvary Chapel Cobb in January 2003. Peter and his wife Margaret have three children.

As leader of the Usher Ministry, Peter's desire is that everyone walking through the door of CCM would be viewed through the eyes of Christ, ("Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer." 2Cr 5:16), that they would receive a sincere and loving welcome and be treated as a family member. And that the services would be accomplished in good order so that the Word of God would go forth unhindered for the salvation of the lost and the equipping of the Saints. Also, that the men of the Usher ministry would serve God with hearts inclined unto Him. "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear." Heb 12:28.
